Q: What is "Endless Bondage" and what is the big deal?

A: "Endless Bondage" is Maria Shadoes' unique style of bondage.  She invented it during private play with Lew Rubens when they were involved sometime in 2002 & 2003.  She wanted to come up with a unique style of her own to put her beside Lew Rubens as a rigger instead of simply copying his style as so many riggers have done.  The big difference with Endless Bondage is that each. rope is tied into a big loop with a decorative knot on the ends, effectively hiding the ends inside the knot.  This leaves the decorative knots visible and utilizes them as 'buttons' to hook the loop end of the rope over to secure it.  Maria is starting to teach her unique style at events and is considering a "How-To" series of video's. 

A model recently told us that someone in Chicago is doing "Endless Bondage" under another name and claiming to be the inventor.  While it's not impossible for someone to reinvent it in the same way Maria originally did, we suspect it is someone who saw Maria's style and got tips from her at Kink in the Caribbean or BoundCon or some other event.  She says that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery and she's thrilled at the possibility of "Endless Bondage" catching on and becoming a mainstream style. Now Kinky Ropes has released rope without ends which Maria considered while in the development stages of 'Endless' but it has limitations that Maria wasn't happy with as it has no 'buttons'. There are many ways it CAN be effectively used but not nearly as many advantages as the 'Endless Style'.  Someone else was heard to say they did 'Endless Bondage' and they were simply using 100 feet of rope at a time.  The term 'Endless Bondage' is a tm of Maria Shadoes and the style you will see on this site.  Maria DOES use regular rope as well at times and even blends the styles occasionally so don't freak out if you see rope ends on the site.

Q: How often is this site updated?

A: 3 times per month within 4 days of the 10th, 20th and 30th the site is updated with a combination of at least 3 galleries and/or video clips with 4 being the norm.

Q: How many pictures are in a gallery?

A: An average gallery is 80 photo's

Q: How long are your video clips?

A: Video clips are usually between 3 and 5 minutes.

Q: Who is your photographer?

A: Everything posted before March 2006 was taken by Ian Gold.  Content created after April 2006 is taken by Lee Chris and there is a variety of other photographers for content created before 3/2006 but posted after that date.  We try to give photography credits on each gallery and in many cases, on each picture.  If you'd like to purchase a full size poster of any image you see on the site please contact us at webmaster@boundtoloveit.com for info and pricing.

Q: How big are your pictures?

A: Sadly, the earlier pictures were processed at 600x800.  All of the recent ones (Sept 2007 to present I think) are at least 800x1200, and since late 2008 they have gone up to be 1200 x1600px or bigger.

Q: Can I checkmark the thumbnails of the photos I want to download and then have them d/l as a zip file?

Some of the galleries, starting in 2009 offer 2 options. 1 option allows each photo to open in it's own page for easy browser viewing, click on 'index' below each gallery for that option. If you click the thumbnail or the word 'page' underneath it,it will allow you to download the entire gallery by following the directions printed on a page linked in the members section.

Q: How big are the video's?

Video's previous to 2007 are 344x268. All video's posted after that are either 640x480 or 720x480 and of a quality to be viewed full screen.  During much of 2009 2 versions of each clip were posted. A high-resolution version which only stayed up a month and a permanent version of slightly lower quality. We will be drastically changing our video clip policy Jan 2010 to only the higher quality version being available and only keeping 3 months of the most recent updates posted at a time. This is to keep bandwidth/storage fees down so that we can keep your prices lower than most other sites.

Q: How much of the content on this site is exclusive?

A: 80% or more of the content (at this time) is exclusive and can only be seen here or by purchasing the DVD. More and more of the content will be exclusive as time goes. The non-exclusive content is shared with Lew Rubens and/or the model and sometimes the photographer and can be seen on their sites as well.
